Many audiophiles are fatally
attracted to the infinite possibilities of improvements and
endless tweaking on their audio systems. Xindak provide yet a
few more interesting accessories for your endeavor of better
sound.
XTT-1 Output Transformers
Output transformers for your
solid-state power amplifiers? There is theory behind the use of
such passive devices. Speakers are not pure resistance; the
complex inductive and capacitive impedance is very hard to the
amplifier. XTT-1 helps to match the impedance for solid
amplifier with that of the speaker better. Connecting this
transformer between solid-state amplifier and speaker, you have
a genuine chance of reducing the distortion for better sound.
VT-Series Acoustic Dampers
Acoustic vibration is
detrimental to sound quality, period. Typical solution to reduce
its effects falls into either absorption or insulation. As an
effective solution, XINDAK have developed a new device,
so-called Spherical Cone Baseplate for Vibration Tuning, that
provides both absorption and insulation. The device places a
ball of very hard material in a base made of acoustically inert
material. The audio equipment (like a CD player) is allowed to
sit on the ball and make point contact. Such point contacts
effectively insulate the audio equipment. Furthermore, any
vibration incurred inside the equipment (e.g., a CD player) is
evenly spread in the inert base through the ball and is
absorbed. In principle, the device also tunes the vibration
frequency to something harmless to the sound quality. Actual
audition indicated that the materials for base and ball have
very interesting effects on sound quality.
It is recommended to
place three dampers in triangle under the audio equipment. All
dampers are 45mm-Diameter x 39mm-Height. Each package contains a
set of three dampers.

Silver Fuses
These European spec fuses are made of pure
4N sliver; terminals are also silver-plated. There are two
current ratings: 2A for preamp, CD players, etc, and 6A for
power amplifiers. They are also perfect for many speakers that
use fuses for overload protection. The investment is probably one of the lowest
in order to get some noticeable improvement on your system.
