This EL34/6CA7 based MT-3 Stereo
Integrated Amplifier is the latest addition to Xindak's family
of tube amplifiers. In terms of power rating,
MT-3 is a step-up
from the MT-1. It operates on either triode mode (18W+18W) or
pentode mode (40w+40w). The
open-chassis design is very simple and clean. Front panel
features a power button, input selector, and volume control.
The amplifier is based on one
12AX7 and two
pieces of 6N8P (6SN7GT) for pre-amplification and four pieces of EL34/6CA7 in
the power stage. A very versatile design to experience either
the power of Pentode or the refined tone of Triode. The output
transformers enjoy the same high quality from Xindak's
tradition.
